- All lessons must be paid for in advance.
- Any cancellations following the receipt of a booking form and payment, will incur an admin fee equivalent of 2 lessons.
- Please be aware that from time to time you may be allocated an alternative teacher.
- A child’s place is booked and committed for the whole term. Cancellation during the term will receive no refund. Any outstanding accounts must be paid for in full.
- If Swimabout Swim School cancels the lesson for any reason, you will be offered an alternative session or a credit.
- Any information given to Swimabout Swim School, for example a child’s swimming ability or medical details will be assumed to be true and accurate, should this not be the case we will not be liable.
- Swimabout Swim School reserves the right to make changes to the programme where necessary, or to cancel lessons if there are insufficient numbers.
- It is the parent/carers’ responsibility to notify us of any illnesses, injuries or medical conditions likely to impede a child’s safety or ability to participate.
- The charges set out are for a specified time and day, there will be no refunds for cancellation by Swimabout Swim School, or absence whatever the reason. Any additional lessons will be charged at the normal rate.
- We reserve the right to change times and locations for reasons beyond our control.
- It is the parent/carers responsibility for the cost of getting to and from the pool.
- We will provide swimming aids and equipment and qualified swimming teacher for each group. During group lessons a minimum of one member of staff will be qualified as a lifeguard. Each lesson will be a maximum of 30 minutes.
- It is the parent/carers responsibility to maintain their children’s safety prior to and after their lesson and to maintain the safety of other children in their care.
- Parents are requested not to use any form of picture or video capture device in the changing rooms or poolside. This is to protect privacy and comply with child protection regulations.
- From time to time, Swimabout Swim School may provide a photographer for publication purpose. Any image used will be done so with the consent of the parent or guardian of the child.
- Swimabout Swim School will not pass on any information detailed on this form to any third party. By signing this form you agree to our use of data as set out in the Privacy Notice.
- Swimabout Swim School is a member of the Swim England and the Swimming Teachers Association and in doing so agrees to comply with the ASA’s code of ethics and child protection laws.
- Swimabout Swim School has Civil Liability Insurance.
- All Swimabout teachers are enhanced DBS checked and cleared.
